Books of Wonder signing

Ed will be signing books at the amazing Books of Wonder bookstore on Saturday, November 1, from 12 to 2 PM. Joining Ed will be authors and illustrators Brian Floca, John Bemelmans Marciano, Paul Zelinsky, and Etienne Delessert.

The Brooklyn Book Festival

On September 14th at 11:00am, Ed will be at the Brooklyn Book Festival. He will be in the

Target Children's Area (Borough Hall Plaza)

for 1/2 an hour to promote Bump in the Night.

Reading at the Country Bookshelf

Ed made an appearance at another Bozeman location, a local bookstore called the Country Bookshelf. This appearance was reported by Montana's News Station.com:

The 39-year-old writer and illustrator made a guest appearance Tuesday night at the Country Bookshelf to read from his children's book, "Bump in the Night," and sign copies.

Look, I know you've got a lot of monster books out there to choose from. Not just blue ones either. But sometimes you want a monster story that can give you cool visuals and a fun plot without sacrificing style or message. Key West's 2008 Hemingway Days celebration is to begin not with a bang, but with a bump — when writer and artist Edward Hemingway introduces his engaging children's picture book, "Bump in the Night."

The youngest grandson of American literary legend Ernest Hemingway, Edward Hemingway is to debut and sign the book during a 5:30-7 p.m. reception Tuesday, July 15, at Key West's landmark Blue Heaven restaurant and bar, 729 Thomas St. The location is particularly meaningful because it's the site of a onetime boxing ring where Ernest Hemingway refereed neighborhood matches when he lived in the island city in the 1930s.

"I'm really excited to be coming to Key West to showcase the book, and it seems very appropriate," said Edward Hemingway, son of Ernest's youngest son Gregory. "My father spent a great deal of his childhood in the Keys and so did I — so what better place for me to launch my first children's book?"

Hemingway grandson Edward Hemingway is to showcase the children's book "Bump in the Night," which he both authored and illustrated, at a reception and signing set for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15.
