
"We have three wonderful judges: Steve Klein, editor of the Huron River Press; Joe Borri, a (Detroit) artist and writer; and Edward Hemingway, Ernest's grandson, who is himself a children's book illustrator. "This is a great opportunity for high school artists to have their work looked at by professionals," concludes Agnew, "get some exposure locally (we're picking five finalists and plan to use the images for display); and (have) a great thing to have in a portfolio if they're going to art school."
